A day by the river.

" I'll take all the time I please this afternoon
before leaving my place alongside this river.
It pleases me , loving rivers.
Loving them all the way back to their source.
Loving everything that increases me ".

Raymond Carver : 'Where Water Comes Together with Other Water '.

  16. We love rivers..but then we live in a town (Pittsburgh) that has three of them!!

Mumsie spent the summer before her first year in college in Salzburg...and fell in love with the Salzach...in all its moods...she said she never knew before that that rivers are moody....

    Love your pix, dear boy!!
