Sometimes ...

Nine months since the diagnosis . Another unexpected milestone on Wilfs journey . This morning an extra sliver of croissant to celebrate . There will be chicken for lunch .

As Wilf would put it : " Sometimes you just need to put the past away and get on with your life " .

  17. Well done, Wilfie! Even when a diagnosis is given with 98% certainty, there are those 2% who beat the odds!!!!

  19. This site has helped us so much. Our dog, like Wilf, got bad news earlier this year. I was very worried and sad until a friend suggested reading Wilf's blog. Now our dog seems to delight in proving that there is no need for the staff to be sad or worry. Her energy level and appetite are less. The tail wagging, joy of life and request for treats are still present.
