Sometimes ...

Nine months since the diagnosis . Another unexpected milestone on Wilfs journey . This morning an extra sliver of croissant to celebrate . There will be chicken for lunch .

As Wilf would put it : " Sometimes you just need to put the past away and get on with your life " .

  18. This site has helped us so much. Our dog, like Wilf, got bad news earlier this year. I was very worried and sad until a friend suggested reading Wilf's blog. Now our dog seems to delight in proving that there is no need for the staff to be sad or worry. Her energy level and appetite are less. The tail wagging, joy of life and request for treats are still present.

  25. What a wonderful milestone! Everyday with our pets is sp precious. Like a few of the comments above our dog was diagnosed over a year ago with some bad news but with a lot of love and time she is doing well. I savor every minute of my time with her! Congratulations Wilf! We will keep you in our prayers.
