24 hours of uninterrupted sleep and Wilf seems to have rediscovered his interest in food. We take this as a clear sign that he is on the mend. Today will be a day of light fish and rice. We're still planning to take him for a scan at the hospital in Toulouse to put to rest the vets fears about a tumour.
Oh Wilfee... its so nice to see such a big smile on your face. Hope its not something scary like tumour. We will be keeping our paws crossed and pray for you.

Fingers and paws crossed here for Wilf's continued recovery.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail and Bertie.
Lulu and I are keeping our fingers crossed for Wilf. Postitive thoughts for a negative result.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't get on blogger fast enough for an update on Wilf--I'm so glad he's feeling better, and I hope his gum color is good too. We will continue sending healing thoughts and prayers from Virginia. Take care!
ReplyDeleteYippeeeeeeeeeeeeeee - we are so happy that you're feeling better, Wilf!

We are hopeful of a good outcome for Wilf. We did dedicate our Sunday walk to Wilf. We strolled along the wooded paths and trails at the beautiful Alaska Pacific University campus, at the start of the walk we asked the wind to send Wilf some healing vibes from Alaska. The campus has a delightful feature, a carillon bell tower, which chime a different song each hour. At the one pm hour the bells chimed Hello Young Lovers. Delightful!
ReplyDeleteI may have had a typo in my comment... the bells chimed the song Hello Young Lovers.... it is early here in AK as I type this.
ReplyDeleteWe're sending our positive thoughts as well!!!

He sure looks happier in that first photo. Hmmm, fish and rice! Sure sounds tastier than the third of a cup of dry organic kibble that awaits Petey this morning. (perhaps that's why he likes to sleep in?). Prayers will keep coming until we hear the all clear.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping all is right with Wilf. He looks like a happy boy.
ReplyDeleteBreathing a bit easier here. As I'm sure you are as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm hopeful it was just something he ate! Perhaps leftovers from the midnight picnic?
Oh no! Hope he's ok
ReplyDeleteI am so happy with your news! "Wilf on the mend" are great words!
ReplyDeletegood news.
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear he's on the mend already! Hopefully he just ate something that didn't agree with him and he'll be back to rugsurfing and checking the fields with Jerome soon!
ReplyDeleteYeesch...we've got our paws crossed and we're pullin' for him...he does look a lot better...fish and rice sounds better than our boring kibble...
ReplyDeleteLove and kisses,
Lacie Cakes et all!!
Such good news - it was the power of all of those paws crossed world wide.
ReplyDeletei read your last post and my stomach dropped. what a relief that wilf is feeling better today! he's definitely smiling in his pictures. :) i'll be thinking good thoughts for him and hoping that all will be well when he goes to see the specialist. please give him a big cuddle for me!
ReplyDeleteI've been worried about Wilf ever since I read yesterday's post. Soooooo glad to read that he seems to be doing better today! Will continue to keep him in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteGot my fingers and toes that the scan goes well and doesn't show any signs of tumor or anything else bad.
Dear Wilf, we're so happy to learn you're better and you obviously did not bloat. Hope your tests are negative and it was just a bad case of indigestion. Guess the occasional scare keeps the humans on their toes and appropriately grateful for our presence. Paws crossed for a total recovery.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with that! my puppy use to get ill regularly vets could find nothing other than his bloods were up Scans showed nothing so they opened him up to see what was going on His whole stomach lining was full of tumours, so bad that we had no choice but to not wake him up from that operation. Make sure they look at every thing as being ill is a sure sign that something is very wrong!
ReplyDeleteJack and I are sending our best best wishes to Wilf!!
