Modeling a new style .
A boys day . Pizza at lunchtime . Steak for dinner . Wilf an enthusiastic consumer of both . Late night Coconut ice cream while watching the Sports Channel . Wilf does his best ' is there any more ? ' routine . To bed outrageously late .
Mid morning . Madame Bay arrives in the Wild Child voiturette . She's here to make sure we've survived a night without 'the font ' . Wilf less than enthusiastic about being cuddled by this chiffon clad figure doused in Lily of the Valley. He wanders off grumpily to continue his sleep under the dining table . Madame Bay doesn't stay long . She's going to help her daughter Sandrine do the hair at the old folks home .'' It's quite a treat for them " she says , perhaps just a little too enthusiastically .
Open the door for the family fellows early morning pit stop . Find that overnight the temperatures have plummeted . The cold snap that's brought Europe to a halt has finally made it's way to the South West of France . A decidedly chilly minus six. Tomorrow Angus will be wearing more than a dressing gown and slippers when he lets Wilf out . Wilf of course is energized by the arctic conditions. This is Polish Lowland Sheepdog weather .

I love this dog; I love that you care so much for him.
ReplyDeleteIt's warmer here in North Scotland than it is at Luby Betmont. Bizarre
Seems like winter has finally arrived....of course it is Groundhog Day. We're still having cool (18C)wet weather. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Please tells us what toppings were on the pizza.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail (from a relatively balmy Aberdeen).
Was it real pizza this time? I sure hope so! Pizza and steak sounds like pretty good fare to me!
ReplyDeleteOh that smile in the second picture from the bottom... Is that the coconut ice cream face?
ReplyDeleteI'm having a funny vision of what Madame Bay might have done to the old folks' hair.
ReplyDeleteA boys day sounds perfect. Pizza and steak and a cold snap. What more could Wilf want?
This morning Anchorage is a pleasant 31 degrees! We sent our chill to Wilf!
ReplyDeleteOMG. your stats will show me coming back over many times to see this post. i love it! and to include in it the perfect pictures of wilfee, one of him laughing, is too much for this old heart. how can i love this dog so much?
ReplyDeletethe world loves him.
you two bachelors keep having fun!
things are about ready to bloom here, it's been so mild. and this is usually our time for ice storms. weird weather!
Wilf - what wonderful photos - my lot of happy three stay in most of the day especially old Foxiie has arthritis - therefore chilling in the baskets.
ReplyDeleteLove from all of us - life can be a bowl full of coconut icecream when with the ones we love Susanne, Daisy, Foxiie and Kiri puppy who just chewed happily on my glasses frames
As I looked at Wilf's photos today, I thought "wow - what a dog!" and then to hear how he enjoyed the chill - you go, Wilf!
ReplyDeleteHere, the weather is weird, too - in the 60s with sunshine; I'm still waiting foran ice storm.
Despite the big difference in weather, we enjoyed the same lunch here today--Pepperoni pizza, a favorite for all of us!
ReplyDeleteWilf does look like he's feeling well--I'm glad!
Sounds like a perfect boy's night in!! Ice cream and late nights, simply cannot get much better than that! Our usual frigid Canadian/Artic weather is a haven for our Alaskan Husky Tor, but sadly this year we have seen maybe 5 days of what should be 5 months of frigid cold. He's not happy!! But Wilf looks utterly happy in the pics! Must be the ice cream! Keep on going Wilf!
ReplyDeleteWith love from your Canadian pals,
Dianna along with Tor, Willow and Tucker
Boys night in, huh? Makes me think I should take a leave of absence so my guys could feast. Except husband can be a better cook than I. BOL!!!
ReplyDeleteThis has got to be my most favorite blog that I follow!!
ReplyDeletePizza...um. Were you boys adventurous in your selection? Your pizzeria had some menu items to test the palate, as we recall. Have told several folks about the magret ( good God), prunes and honey and not one has failed to very visibly blanch.
ReplyDeleteGroundhog Day predictions tell us we are in for six more weeks of winter. Instead of cursing the cold, we'll just say "it's good PON weather".
Uh oh.
ReplyDeleteI wear Diorissimo, which is basically Lily of the Valley.
