Garth Brooks has a song called "Unanswered Prayers" that says in it "Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers." This has been true for me--I sometimes just can't see the bigger picture. :-)

Too true! I've wanted things that I didn't get and it actually worked out for the better later on. Right now though, I just want a job and that doesn't seem to be working out at all. That doesn't seem very lucky.
