A new pizza restaurant has opened up in the little market town . Angus and ' the font ' stand at the front door reading the menu. Angus finds number 21 - chicken, apricots and raisins - to be the most improbable . ' The font ' is left speechless by number 16 - chicken, goats cheese, honey, with or without nuts . Wilf sits sniffing the air beside us. It's clear that he considers all pizzas to be the height of sophistication .
do tell! did you ever have one of the above? or were the smells enough? wilfee might have to add a pizza corner at midday to his croissant corner at morning into his routine! special nose kiss to my wee bear, love tammy j
And he is correct, of course. Even though we limit ourselves to the most basic pizza, sauce, cheese, pepperoni, we do admire those daring souls who venture out into the world of the pizza gourmand.
I wonder if there is any with mustard on? Wilf would be in pizza heaven! Those are interesting toppings, to be sure. Just by looking at the top picture of Wilf this day, I must try to take a picture of our Tucker, he and Wilf could be first cousins, they look similar with the hair! Keep on going Wilf, handsome boy!
Wiht love from your melting and almost rainy (!) Canadian pals, Dianna along with Tor, Willow and Tucker
Strange combinations indeed.
ReplyDeleteAs long as it has cheese, Edward would be a fan.
Weren't pizzas originally just a way of using up leftovers?
ReplyDeleteThey are getting very creative.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & roxy
Pizzas à la crème ????
ReplyDeleteThe composted one (23) sounds a bit fishy to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that the biggest and probably the most sophisticated thing that will ever happen for pizza in our town will be 'delivery!' :-)
ReplyDeleteAwww, I have such a pang in my heart for Wilf. Finney and Skye feel the same way!
ReplyDeleteThe Indian takeaway near to us in the UK also does pizzas.
ReplyDeleteThe first one on the list is "chicken tikka pizza". We tried it once and it was very tasty.
I'm sorry, but you've been misled! That is NOT pizza! *makes a childish face of dislike*
ReplyDeleteMaybe if they didn't call it pizza...
ReplyDeleteDome interesting combos, though. I'd like to try.
