Blossoms .

London sunny and warm . More like Spain that Britain . People spilling out onto the streets, pavement cafes full , office workers in shirt sleeves. Angus stops off to look at the souvenirs for the Queens Jubilee celebrations . Many of the momentos produced for the Royal Wedding were dire . Barely marketable tat. This time round they're much better. Tasteful and fun .

Home to be greeted by a very shaggy Wilf. Arthritis rules out the wild welcome home dance but the warmth and intensity of the greeting are as strong as ever . That little stump wagging at twenty to the dozen .Soon , the family fellow settles down, head on my foot, and is fast asleep . Much happy yawning and swallowing . Old dog wisdom . "Quit being sad. Hear blessings dropping their blossoms around you ".

  1. It was a lovely day here yesterday, but I am glad for Wilf that it was just a brief visit. Flock all present and accounted for, once more, just the way he likes it. I hope you all have a lovely day in the fresh air and spring sun.

  2. Not just London but even Aberdeen has been basking in unfamilar sunshine these last few days.
But tell us Angus, what did you buy? The tea pot? Or a Jubilee dog bowl for Wilfy?

  3. Yes, window shopping is enjoyable, and no regrets afterwards. Wilf looking very distinguished in his second photo.

  7. Is that dragons on the plate? I've never seen anything quite like that! I'm glad you had a good trip for once! Did the warm weather mean you also made it through the air terminal without facing the wand of doom?

I love how content the dogs always are after we all come home!

  10. Wait now, I think you should have purchased the tea pot, some matching cups and saucers, and the big dish to serve the biscuits in. Not too badly designed (except for that garish orange creature) and think just how much mileage you would get out of a grand set like this. He who hesitates . . .

Jo, Stella and Zkhat, who send regards to Sir Wilfee
