The builders have finished. The electricians gone. The mad French curtain woman back in her atelier turning old Scots flags into seat cushions . We 're now waiting for Aude and her boiler suited friends from the womens cooperative to come and paint the fresh plaster in the ' snug '. That done we can then watch the evening news on television again . To mark our return to near normality Madame Bay is set to arrive at any minute to start the herculean task of dust removal , or at least dust redistribution . Wilf is once again the very happy master of his domain . Seeing him settle down in the long grass by the well you know he has the right answer to the question " Is the life I'm living the life that wants to live in me ? "
a resounding YES!ReplyDelete
Oh, I agree! So nice to anticipate "normal" returning...for however long it may be.ReplyDelete
What a lipsmacking, happy dog! Wishing you a lovely 'dustfree' day!ReplyDelete
I do hope you have gone back to the Parisian vet and given her a resounding "HA!"ReplyDelete
Normal sounds pretty good to me, let's hope Wilf feels the same.ReplyDelete

I've come to realize that dogs can be or possibly without a doubt so much wiser than we are.ReplyDelete
We could all learn a lesson from the wisdom of an old dog.ReplyDelete
We love you so!ReplyDelete
With Wilf it always seems to be a life well lived; the normal flow is always preferable and desirable. Enjoy every moment dear Wilf. DBHReplyDelete

I'm glad things are getting back to normal for you and Wilf!
From across the sea, it seems like this last round of building went pretty fast. I'm sure that it felt longer to you. "Redistribution of dust" made me chuckle...ReplyDelete

Seeing Wilf settle down in the long grass by the well you know he has to be thinking, "This is where those builders and the electrician should start constructing a babbling brook..."ReplyDelete
Glad things are settling down!ReplyDelete
Is the life I'm living the life that wants to live in me ? So lovely.ReplyDelete
Joan and Fergie the Poodle Diva.
Wow, things sound like they're settling down for you a bit! When one door closes, another one opens though so don't get too used to the calmness. lolReplyDelete
