Don't postpone happiness


An exhausting day for Wilf . On the stroke of ten he follows ' the font ' into the kitchen . The next two and a half hours are a time of intense canine concentration . The family fellow knows that until food is actually swallowed by someone else there is a chance that it might , potentially , be his . If in doubt stare intently at the cook with a plaintive expression on your face .
Soupe froide de tomate et fenouil
Bar roti aux herbes , pommes de terre et beurre citron
Petits clafoutis cerise-framboise
The old fellow trots out after lunch and settles down on the cool courtyard gravel for a professional doze ." Happiness is not something you postpone for the future ; it is something you design for the present ".

    My boys are the same way with the staring while I prepare dinner/eat. Sometimes my smaller chihuahua will whine.

    Not a fan of fish but I want that dessert! (Had to use the translator to find out what's for dinner.)

    I like the idea of lunch at your place - it sounds fabulous. I think I too would have waited with eager anticipation for such a feast.

    A great reminder to start the week! I would also wait two hours for that lunch as well, its been awhile since I've enjoyed sea-bass!

    We're salivating over here Mongoose. All that's on our menu for lunch today is a sandwich au jambon. *sigh* Sweet Wilf looks so content having his post lunch snooze.
