A slow start for Wilf this morning . He comes to the front door and stands there , looking first this way , then that , uncertain about what to do . Should he stay at home for a nap or come with me to the cafe in town ? The magic word 'croissants ' and this fun loving boys mind is immediately made up . He beams as he's lifted up into the back of the car .
Old PON's know '' as you grow older , you'll find the only things you regret are the things you didn't do " .
Which is why it's important to do as much as you possibly can, while you can. It's always good to see Wilf's sunny little face in my "thumbnails" first thing in the morning.
Reminds me of something a wise person said to me years ago - you won't be sitting in your armchair by the fire aged ninety and thinking 'I wish I'd spent more time in the office'... Cheers, Gail PS Bertie is heading to the airport right now!
Wilfie - you are looking great! Why are we only getting wiser when we age? Love from Southern Italy - our JRT (he was a globe trotter) is now retired in Austria - but hopefully he will come at Christmas - his Santa Claus outfit is ready for him!! I love this little guy so very much, cant think him not being here... Susanne, Daisy (just stole the croccantini from our cats and feels just a little guilty... and Foxiie Lancilotto Luciferino Otellino Umberto of Mount Morar..... Italian with Austrian mother and Scottish title...
Mmmmhhh, "croissants" ! A magic word ! Even for us, human...
Congrats Scotland for your win this morning against Georgia, hope Angus is a happy man ! May be a "coupe de champagne" and coconut ice cream for Wilfee ?
i just can't get enough of that face. and the fact that he's so wise too... well it's just frosting on the wilfee croissant! ewww... bad image! leave our croissant pure and simple! love and hugs to you two boys. hoping for good news about granny font. tammy j
I love to watch Edward make a decision. When I'm on the sofa, knitting, he will come and sit right in front of me. I pat the seat beside him and invite him up. He thinks. He looks left. He looks right. He listens for Apple to see if she's doing anything interesting. Then all of a sudden, you can almost see the cogs of his brain lock into place, and he leaps up beside me.
Of course, the word "croissants" might speed up this process considerably.
A phrase from Mark Twain springs to mind...twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did, etc.....
Seize the day darling Wilf and keep on going!!
With love from your Canadian pals, Dianna along with Tor, Willow and Tucker
A lesson we could all benefit from learning earlier, but most of us never do. Hope Wilf had a wonderfully contented day.

I see that same kind of look everyday when the puppy tries to decide if he should chase the cat or not!
