Outlandish behaviour .

Audes dungaree wearing friend from the Womens Cooperative arrives in her van . Today she's wearing a t-shirt with the slogan ' Make mine a double ' in large red letters across the front . '' Cementing " she says by way of greeting . Madame Charm has brought with her one of the old Swedish dining chairs . Another member of the Cooperative has been recovering these with the silk I brought back from India . ' The font ' is happy with the result and gives the go ahead for the rest to be done .

After a year of defying the inevitable time seems to be catching up with Wilf. No pain . Just a gentle, slightly achy and arthritic drifting into old age . Rather like a walk into the mist . The warranty on liver and kidneys close to expiring . '' It happens to us all " says the nice young vet glancing in my direction . Wilf leans into me . '' While there's tread on the tyres and gas in the tank we'll carry on partying ". The vet, the receptionist, the senior vet and 'the font ' all laugh . Wilf beams . Outlandish old age beckons .

Has someone from the Women's Cooperative been doing Wilf's hair? Tres chic.

  5. Oh my dear Wilfie - and family ----- I wish him so much gas in the tank and tread on his lovely tyres - ever heard of Vitorgan (Freshcells) - it is a miracle medicine especiallyfor kidneys...
To help the liver I use LEGALON tablets -

  15. Oh, yes, do party; you brighten my life everyday, even as I sometimes hold my breath. Love the "hair do's" and your wonderful nose but esp. your joie de vivre. Extended warranty, indeed!

  16. The soft mist of age! Thank goodness, no pain. I was so afraid the reason Wilf laid down in the garden was because he had massive fluid build up around his heart/lungs and became too winded, too anoxic to make it back.
I live in the presence of the mist every day with my mum. No pain, no worry, babbling incoherently to a lamp or a tea pot or just in bed, laughing with the bedpost. Its very hard to see loved ones like this, quite upsetting. But thats our issue. The mist is a happy place no cares no woes; just wishes in an absolute present. God bless them.
Angus, the chair is perfect. What a elegant, well thought out fabric selection. Such excellent taste. No wonder The Font is pleased.
