The PON golden rule .
The hottest place in France yesterday . 24 degrees . With the light cloud cover felt more like 30 . Wilf spends his day listening to Angus stacking wood in the barn . Mid-morning , Aude , the decaratrice , arrives with a box of supermarket dog biscuits . A gift from the womens cooperative . A very rare accolade indeed. ' Bonjour Wilfee ' . The family fellow gently takes an orange coloured biscuit from Audes outstreched hand and saunters over to the middle of the courtyard to devour it in peace . The family fellow a strict adherent to the PON golden rule: Sleep til you're hungry, eat til you're sleepy.

Ah Wilf... You helped Aude notice dogs. Excellent.ReplyDelete
Jack would eat in his sleep if he could open the cabinet or refrigerator doirs!ReplyDelete
We'll drink to that!!!ReplyDelete
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
We are surprised (but pleased on Wilf's behalf) to learn that the women's cooperative buys supermarket dog biscuits.ReplyDelete
And if you are a Golden Retriever, then you will also dream of food while you sleep.ReplyDelete
Sending lots of love form NZ to Wilf from Riley (who always looks forward to and drools at the sight of his daily supermarket dog biscuit each morning).
I love this balmy autumnReplyDelete
...'and get up when you're ready' is the Golden rule our crew adheres to at our house!ReplyDelete
Keep to the golden rule - tesorino Wilfie - bacetti sul nasino and many gourmet meals and biscuits... Love Susanne, Daisy and FoxiieReplyDelete
Isn't it nice to have so many admirers, Wilf? Especially when they're always bringing treats! I always smile when I read about his charmed life! :)ReplyDelete
Has there ever been anyone in the history of the world who hasn't fallen for Wilf? (Well, with the exception of that odious vet who falls into her own never in the history of the world category.)ReplyDelete
Dyed store- brand biscuits! Is this like a guest showing up with a really, really unfortunate wine selection? Or are you pleased it's not the co-ops home made ones? I think they're trying, Angus.
i love the pons golden rule... except maybe for humans would change it from sleeping to settling in with a good book!ReplyDelete
hugs and sweet nose kisses for my beloved wilfee.
So funny- my dogs turn away from those biscuits. Spoiled group here!ReplyDelete
Today's PON golden rule applies to a few humans i know. ;)ReplyDelete
Blessings and Love.
Janelle and Maggie Mae
I certainly do follow that PON golden rule too!! :) It looks a bit breezy in the third snap, cooler weather coming perhaps? Let's hope so! Keep on going Wilf, handsome boy!ReplyDelete
With love from your Canadian pals,
Dianna along with Tor, Willow and Tucker
Our guys certainly follow that golden rule -- interspersed only with a few intervals of serious barking.ReplyDelete
Joan and the Barkalots
That's a good golden rule for boxer-beagle mixes and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, too! That, and running in and out of the doggie door 87 times a day.ReplyDelete
It was kind of Aude to bring Wilfie a gift, and kind of him to accept it with such grace and apparent enjoyment.
Jed & Abby
I love how the whole town seems to adore Wilf.ReplyDelete
