Shy ?
Wilf is at the airport waiting . He's upside down, under the cafe table, snoring gently . Shortly after his arrival a waitress, unbidden **, brings him a bowl of water and the major part of a whole wheat croissant . Proof , as far as an old PON is concerned that " life is too short to be shy " .
** On the way home in the car ' the font ' explains that Wilfs idea of unbidden is to sit rock still , facing the gateaux counter , with his nose at a thirty degree angle. After five minutes of sphinx like behaviour any dog loving member of staff gets the message .

Wilf can make himself at home and comfortable anywhere it seems. Yet another lesson he has to teach us!

Wilf's right. If you're shy, you'll never know what you are missing--And in his case, the never-ending kindness from strangers!

Message in a bottle - well body language does it - stormy Sunday - firecracker for the local church festival with Daisy hiding under the bed - she takes five minutes to rob under the bed and I take 5 seconds to pull her out afterwards - all is well in crazy Berlusconi land - bacetti sul nasino per il piu bel orsachiotto del mondo - love Susanne, Daisy and Foxiino
ReplyDeleteI can just picture Wilf waiting patiently...
ReplyDeleteOh, the wisdom of the aged.
ReplyDeleteWilf always knows how to 'work it'...
ReplyDeleteAll Wilf has to do is be Wilf and no one can resist. Besides being the most adorable dog ever, there is just something about him, there really is. I'm a cat lady and I am totally mad for him!
ReplyDeleteWilf can teach us all a thing or two about how to enjoy life. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings and Love,
Janelle and Maggie Mae
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it," eh, Wilf? It's worked so far, I'd stick with it, too!
ReplyDeleteBet his solid, expectant pose is more attractive to the peeps than what most of us do: drool, sometimes while we dance. As usual, we can learn from Wilf.
