Rescheduled.
A mad dash to the airport. Angus is heading off for a golf weekend . It's one of those blind panic mornings . British Airways changed their flight schedule when the clocks changed . The London flight now leaves an hour earlier . This change in scheduling is only discovered when the boarding pass is printed out .
Wilf is in fine form. He gets toast for breakfast and a quick walk around the village green before being lifted into the back of the car. A good laugh and a long sleep the best cures in the vets book .
Canine imponderable of the day . Why is it that when I blow in Wilfs face he gets all huffy. Yet when he gets in the car the first thing he wants to do is stick his nose out of the window ?

Simple. It's his choice to stick his face out the window.
ReplyDeleteLove his new haircut, too!
Even though it's a good walk spoiled, I do wish you success with your golf game!
Do you really want us to answer that? :)
ReplyDeleteBlowing in the wind vs head out window is one of the mysteries of dog ownership...just like swimming vs bath.

Wilf without Angus. Bet the font is making ya lots of goodies handsome boy. Moia and fluff.
ReplyDeleteFinest and fluffiest teddybear - you look just so adorable. Bacetti sul nasino - Susanne, Daisy and Foxiie
ReplyDeleteHad a successful morning - my friends and neighbours have taken a little cocker found in the street by another friend - so adorable. So happy for the puppy - found a great place.
Angus, I'm so glad Wilf is doing well, and I hope that you have an enjoyable weekend!!
ReplyDeleteAs far as the canine imPONderable...I wish I knew the answer to it--If you do, take 5 strokes off your golf game.
I don't know the answer but it's the same for humans - most people love the wind in their face, at the seaside, on top of a hill....but I don't know anybody who enjoys someone blowing in their face.
ReplyDeleteIt may remain one of life's mysteries !!
Wilf looks fabulous -so content and happy.
ReplyDeleteWhy does Petey love to run into the ocean and lie down in the shallow water yet cower miserably in the bathtub when he gets a bath?
ReplyDeleteAngus imponderable: why are you blowing in the PON's face?
ReplyDeleteWhat is that about?
Have a lovely weekend. We know Wilf and The Font will dine royally!
Love to all.
Hmm, I can't help myself but blurt this one out about the imPONderable. Have you thought about how your breath smells? :)
ReplyDeleteHave a fun weekend of golf.
wilfee's having such good days!
ReplyDeletepictures of his smile just make my own day.

Wilf will undoubtedly make sure to sample some of the Font's fabulous gourmet cooking.
ReplyDeleteI hope Wilf gets lots of goodies and his packs time apart is short. My dogs love it when I blow in their faces. They also love to sleep on my stinky sneakers and roll in very nasty stuff they find on our walks.
ReplyDeleteLeaving Wilf for necessary work, ok. But leaving Wilf to play golf?! Not so much.
ReplyDeleteThere's a threatening quality to blowing in the face, which happens for sure when a dominant doggie is about to grab your snout. There's no canine-perceived threat to a nice breeze in the face, even though the peeps know it can be a threat to the eyes and ears.

Apparently your breath isn't quite as interesting and, um, aromatic as the fresh breeze!
ReplyDelete"Why is it that when I blow in Wilfs face he gets all huffy. Yet when he gets in the car the first thing he wants to do is stick his nose out of the window?"
ReplyDelete^^^I've often wondered that very thing about dogs too!
Any holes in one?
ReplyDeleteMy three year old grandson told me I had "fart breath".
