The thrill of a new day .




Strange weather . Cloudy at daybreak . Cloudless and hot from ten onwards . ' Lourd ' the French word to describe the heavy , constant heat . Out with Wilf before it gets hot . He ambles through the sunflower fields at dawn, nose down , taking in the thrill of a new day . " A ship in a hrabour is safe - but that is not what ships are for ".

    Fortunately, Jack doesn't believe in dawn, so he doesn't make me get up to believe in it either! :)

    We love the sunflowers. Ours are still hiding amongst their foliage, obviously not sunny enough for them in England!

    lourd is definitely the word for it here... weeks on end of temps over 100. lord, i've had enough lourd. (you knew that was coming.)
