Psychology and illness.

Wilf was reunited with his family last night . Old blind dog with cancer and diabetes ? You must be mistaken . Within seconds of the car sweeping down the drive our senior citizen had been replaced by a singing, caroling, sprightly, six month old puppy. Too excited to bark. His body, aft of the neck, moving in uncoordinated exhiliration. Wave after wave of intermingled joy, happiness and bliss sweeping through him . Walking on air. Happy as a king. Basking in sunshine. Treading on enchanted ground. Like patience on a monument.

This morning he set off through the village, head held high, a celebratory " Rejoice ! I have found my sheep " christening of the fire hydrant. Kelly wasn't around. If she had been she might have found that the chipper old fellow had more than mischief on his mind. The miraculous interaction of positive psychology and illness. That old PON adage : ' They do not love that do not show their love '.

    have a great wknd
not sure if your keeping up with the political boondoggle in Madison...the State Supreme Court election was held...during the primary the incumbent was ahead by 35%....at the election the challenger won by 204 votes(due to the grassroots movement) NOW, during the re-count they have "found" 7000 votes that were not counted...of course for the incumbent....just keeps getting more bizarre....

  17. Lovely pictures, I was soaking up all the sunrays - we have been gloom and more gloom here as winter painfully transits into spring. Gray skies, snow, sun, melt, repeat..... Wilf has been soaking up the love of his family, what great therapy. I have inlaws to which that quote aptly applies!

Happy sunny love-filled weekend to you all! And coconut ice cream for Wilf please. xo
