Spoilt for choice.

This morning a surprise rendezvous with Kelly, the hover dog. She sprinted out of the old widows front gate and literally bumped into Wilf as he was weighing up which of the trees outside the village hall he should christen first. Kelly was ready for fun. Classic let's play mode. Head down, paws stretched out in front of her . Sadly, her blandishments went completely unnoticed by Wilf.

On the village notice board a new sign. A foie gras museum is opening up in a neighbouring commune. Together with the garden secateur museum our summer guests will be spoilt for choice.

Things that make me laugh about Wilf. Ten years old and his tail still wags every time he comes into the kitchen.

  1. Well if you have to have a museum dedicated to gras, a foie gras museum is the way to go! :)

  2. I just visited a wine museum in Aigle. The Swiss presented it quite beautifully and artistically. I'm betting the French can make foie gras a masterpiece...maybe even convert a few vegetarians.

  3. We're with JackDaddy. Wilf would probably like to see the demonstrations.

  4. Even if Wilfee didn't see Kelly's blandishments, I hope they had a great time playing together. Concerning your yesterday's post Angus, you are so right, Wilfee is a warrior and a heroe, an example.
Bisous and cuddles to him, amitiƩs to you Angus and the Font.

  5. Don't forget that you also have the museum of table settings and if timed right, the garlic festival for summer guest!

The small things our dogs do are the most endearing, aren't they?

  7. The Wisteria is glorious. Shouldn't it be celebrated with a little coconut ice cream for Wilf?

  9. It is the little things, like the wagging tail upon entering the kitchen, that make us smile about our dogs.

You do have the most fascinating museums nearby!

  10. Java was the same way - until the end - his tail wagged every time he came in the kitchen or came near one of us.

  12. But it's three days of celebration! How can you possibly miss that?

In your kitchen, even my tail would wag every time I walked in!

  13. Forever hopeful eh Wilf? Good boy!! As for the foie gras museum...the human will pass on it, but the dogs do wag their tails at the mention. Keep going Wilf!

  20. I'm gonna have to look it up but someone once told me that foie gras translates to frog in English. Hmm...a musuem dedicated to frogs.

Ok, I just looked it up and it's actually duck.
