Recovery.

After the dual traumas of their bath and grooming Wilf and Digby decided that yesterday should be a day entirely devoted to rest and recuperation. They dutifully settled down to watch as the recently delivered acanthus plants were carefully set out in the flower borders. When the gardening show became too repetitive or slow one of them would wander over with a ball or a toy - a gentle but persistent reminder that true happiness is found in a game of catch. Their day was only marred by the arrival of Madame Bay who came to give 'Deegbee' and 'Wolfee' belated birthday greetings. One sight of this statuesque, multi-coloured figure heading towards them while making strange trilling noises and they were off. There is a limit to how much excitement a boy can face in a week.

  1. After yesterday I think that YOU also deserve a day to rest and recuperate!
The Boyz are indeed in fine form and they don't look like they are a day over 9 years old!

  5. I suppose the boyz do need a break after all they went through! My guess is M'Ongoose needed to recover, too!

Does Madame Bay know that you borrowed her shoes yesterday?

  7. Ah, yes, recovery. The past Tues. and Wed. mornings, Silverwalk had teenagers from a local Catholic high school here helping w/yard work and walking/running dogs. It was wonderful, energizing but I now know for sure I am no longer young. Right on, boyz!

  9. That second photo had me laughing out loud. His fur is standing straight up, and you say that he was just groomed!!!!

And then, my funny bone was jiggled again by the description of Madame Bay. You must somehow, sneakily, include a photo someday. I need to know if my mental image is even close to correct!!

One day without internet and I fell behind on everything. Glad to catch up with you!
